Interactive Classic S5 65"

The CommBox Interactive Classic S5 is CommBox’s flagship interactive touchscreen — a 65-inch 4K UHD display running Android 14 and the CommBox OS Experience, certified under Google’s EDLA programme for full Play Store access. The Classic S5 is the antithesis of the OS-free Neo line: rather than relying on a connected laptop, the S5 boots into a full, hardened, managed Android environment with CommBox AI tools, a 7-year CommBox Manage licence and Google CASA Tier 3 cyber-security accreditation.

For SMB and mid-market customers in education, corporate, government and training environments, the Classic S5 is positioned as a complete “all-in-one” interactive display — 50-point infrared touch with 1 mm accuracy and ≤2.5 ms response, 25 W front-facing speakers per channel, removable Wi-Fi 6 (2.4/5/6 GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, NFC tap-to-personalise, and built-in AI Voice Control. Designed in Australia, backed by a 5-year warranty, supported through the CommBox Experience Centre in Auckland.

Where it fits

• Education — primary, secondary, tertiary classrooms — Goanna OS update adds curriculum handwriting lines, music staves, CSV-import classrooms, Rewards/Spinner and Posters apps. Better Ink writing experience; Google Play Store gives teachers their normal toolset on-screen. 7-year management licence covers a typical school refresh cycle.
• Corporate meeting rooms with Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms — Add an OPS Slot-in PC for the Windows certified workflow; native Android handles BYOD and wireless casting. Compatible with Jabra, Poly, Logitech, Yealink and Neat video bars.
• Hot-desking and shared collaboration zones — NFC tap-on personalisation pulls a user’s home screen, sidebar and cloud accounts onto the device for the duration of the session; automatic log-out wipes the personal state afterwards.
• Training rooms, briefing rooms and command-and-control — Multi-screen Broadcast and CommBox Connect cast across rooms or buildings; CommBox Manage gives a central IT team remote control and reporting across the fleet.
