E3 Series E8630

The MAXHUB E3 Series E8630 is an 86-inch 4K UHD interactive touch display engineered for large meeting rooms, training rooms, lecture spaces and classroom-style collaboration. It pairs a 10-bit IPS panel with anti-glare 9H tempered glass, a 40-point infrared touch surface and an octa-core Android 14 SoC with a dedicated 6 TOPS NPU — so it runs as a full standalone collaboration board without needing an attached PC.

The E8630 is the largest member of the E3 Series. Active display area is 1895 × 1066 mm — roughly 32% more screen real estate than the 75″ E7530 and 76% more than the 65″ E6530. The 86-inch size is the right pick for boardrooms and lecture rooms where the furthest viewer is more than ~7 metres from the screen, and for back-row legibility in larger training and classroom spaces.

A panel-technology difference is worth flagging up front: where the 65″ and 75″ models use a VA panel, the E8630 uses an IPS panel. IPS gives consistently accurate colour and contrast off-axis (helpful in long rooms where side seats see the screen at a steep angle), but its typical static contrast ratio is lower (3,000:1 vs 5,000:1 on the smaller siblings). For shared screen content, slide decks, video calls and whiteboarding — the actual workloads in this device’s target rooms — IPS is the correct trade.

Where it fits

• Large boardroom or executive meeting room (16+ seats) — Long boardrooms where viewers at the far end of the table are 6–10 m from the display. IPS panel keeps colour and brightness consistent for the side seats. The 86″ size puts a readable 12-point font in view from the back of a long room — content slides, financial dashboards and shared documents stay legible without zooming.
• Corporate training room or workshop space — Half-day workshops with a trainer at the front and 16–30 learners in classroom layout. Three HDMI inputs, USB-C and separate VGA legacy input let the trainer switch sources without unplugging anything; 40-point touch supports learners coming up to the board and annotating in turn.
• Lecture room or polytech teaching space — EDLA-licensed Google apps and MAXHUB EDU OS V4 cover the standard teacher and student app stack out of the box. Anti-glare glass and IPS off-axis behaviour are well suited to lit lecture rooms with windows.
• Town-hall or all-hands space — Standalone Android 14 with EDLA means the panel can run a digital signage app between events. Wi-Fi 6 and Gigabit Ethernet are both standard so the device is fully on the corporate LAN for streaming the all-hands.
