CMB Series ND65CMB

The MAXHUB CMB Series ND65CMB is a 65-inch 4K UHD commercial-grade display engineered for 24/7 operation in business environments — digital signage, lobby and reception screens, corporate communication walls, large meeting-room secondary displays, retail displays and wayfinding panels. Unlike the MAXHUB E Series and XBoard V7 series (which are interactive whiteboard / collaboration displays with touch surfaces), the CMB is a non-touch commercial display tuned for always-on duty cycles, content delivery and dependable picture quality across long operating hours.

At 65 inches the CMB hits the standard “mid-format” commercial display size used in most NZ lobby and corporate-comms installs. The ND65CMB shares the consistent CMB software, certifications and 24/7 panel rating with the smaller siblings, and adds two size-class features that start at 65 inches and above: a side-mounted USB dongle pairing port (for the WT13 wireless dongle workflow) and support for the optional MAXHUB XBar Series Bracket, which lets the customer wall-mount a MAXHUB XBar video bar directly to the back of the display — useful when the same panel is being used both for signage and as a hybrid-meeting secondary monitor.

Two characteristics make the CMB stand out at this size in the NZ market. First, build quality and panel rating are at a true commercial standard: 24/7 operation, IP5X dust-rated chassis, ~100,000-hour panel lifetime, full-metal construction, and 500 nits typical brightness — about 40% brighter than a consumer or prosumer-tier 65-inch LCD. Second, the device runs Android 14 with the MAXHUB Signage OS V2 layered on top, includes Crestron Connected, Extron, Q-SYS and NDI certifications, supports USB-C BYOM up to 1080p, and exposes a dedicated Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) “meeting mode” that auto-syncs wake/sleep with the MTR console.

Where it fits

• Lobby or reception communication panel — Wall-mounted 65″ panel running rotating internal-comms content via MAXHUB Pivot or Appspace. 24/7 rated panel and IP5X-rated chassis handle continuous operation in an air-conditioned lobby; 500 nits brightness reads clearly in atrium daylight. 65″ is the standard NZ corporate-lobby signage size.
• Corporate communication wall and town-hall display — Run live company-wide announcements or all-hands streams. Wired Gigabit Ethernet plus Wi-Fi 6 give the IT team flexibility on connectivity, and the Crestron / Extron / Q-SYS certifications mean it drops into the existing corporate AV control plane.
• Retail large-format signage (front-of-store / end-of-aisle) — Portrait or landscape orientation for product hero screens, promotional content and store-front signage. Anti-glare 25% haze controls reflections from in-store lighting and shop-front glass.
• Hybrid meeting room — display + XBar combo — Use the optional XBar Series Bracket to mount a MAXHUB XBar video bar directly to the back of the display, turning the ND65CMB into a complete hybrid meeting endpoint (camera, mic and audio plus the screen). Best for rooms where the customer wants the XBoard V7 functionality but at the CMB price tier and is willing to integrate the components themselves.
• Wayfinding and meeting-room booking screens (large format) — Outside conference centres or large meeting suites — running room-booking apps (Teams Rooms scheduler, Robin, Condeco) or building-directory boards. MTR meeting-mode auto-sync is useful where the same screen is used both for the booking display and for showing the booked meeting’s joining info.
